[ediblecontainergardens] Reuse of soil????

I pulled up all my container plants and dumped the soil into one super
large tote i had, my question is what do i do to be able to use the
soil in the spring is ther anything to add to it. or any thing i
should do to it . should it be covered or uncovered?
